Description
11/4/25- For sale is an M26 pattern Adrian helmet. The Adrian helmet was made famous by French troops in WWI and gave them their unique silhouette, and remained in service around the world well after World War Two. The M26 variant was developed in the interwar years to provide extra protection and simplify the manufacturing process. The exterior of the helmet maintains most of the original paint but does have wear and scratches to the finish. The top crest and French infantry badge are both original and intact. The helmet interior has the same original paint and subsequent oxidation and wear. The liner is present and original but much of the overhead webbing has been lost, leaving just the leather headband. The chinstrap looks like a later replacement but not modern. Overall in good condition.
