Description
10/6/25 - For sale is a Springfield Krag Jorgensen made in 1901. This rifle started as a standard infantry length 1898 rifle but was converted to a carbine by Ostberg Armory & Locomotive Works. OALW was known to convert many of these rifles into a faux carbine but they marked their work with "OALW" stamped on a plaque on the stock, and under the barreled receiver. The metal has a nice blued finish, the receiver is still in the white but has patches of oxidation. Bore is bright with good rifling, but there is some pitting visible.
