Description
7/22/25 - For sale is an Enfield No1 Mk3 that was made in 1910. The rifle was sent to New Zealand and is NZ marked above the Crown mark. The rifle was later converted to .22 Long Rifle and had a Parker Hale diopter sight installed. The conversion looks to have been done by a prior private owner and not the military. The metal retains an aged matte blue finish with bare metal exposed form a grinder when the sight mount was installed at the rear of the receiver. The barrel shank doesn't have markings. The stock shows plenty of handling marks. There is a 1.5" crack stemming form the front of the magazine. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The bolt head was replaced with a No2 bolt head for .22LR and the magazine follower & Spring were removed to catch spent .22 casings. The serial numbers are mismatched throughout.
