Description
2/24/26 - This is an original and correct RZM-marked Walther PPK from 1935. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP, and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to have been issued to the German political leaders of the time. The pistol retains about 70% of its original high polish bluing, showing notable holster/edge wear, and thinning along both profile views (on the slide flats and high edges). Areas of spotting/freckling and scattered oxidation/pitting are most concentrated around the ejection-port area and forward slide/muzzle region, but are scattered to a lesser extent across both sides of the slide. Additionally, there are a few spots of finish loss on the underside of the trigger guard, front grip strap, and tang. Bore is shiny with good rifling, but there is fouling in the grooves. Fitted with an excellent, original single piece grip, showing typical handling marks and scuffing, but no structural cracks or chips are visible. Comes with one proper banner only Walther magazine.
