Description

3/18/26- For sale is a nice 1940 dated K98 bayonet. The blade is darkly blued with light wear and no serious damage or chipping. One side of the blade is stamped with the serial "6380a", the other side is stamped "Carl Eickhorn", and the spine is stamped with a "40" date code. The grips are intact with light wear and no serious damage or cracking. The pommel has WaA eagles. The scabbard has mild wear and finish loss, including some light corrosion. The scabbard is serialized "2977x" and is marked "42asw" which indicated Horster in 1942, not a match to the blade. The leather frog is intact with no damage and has a 43 stamp on the back. Overall in excellent condition.
