Description
6/25/25 - For sale is a Colt Model 1911A1 made in 1941 inspected by Robert Sears. The pistol retains a faded blue finish with a brown tint of patina. The slide shows edge wear, especially around the muzzle, from holster use. Under the Firing pin retention plate is stamped with a matching serial number to the frame. The frame shows prickling of surface oxidation towards the front and patina and wear on the front of the grip. Some spots of finish loss around the slid estop. The frame and slide both have "8190" written with an E-pencil. The grip panels are in great shape. The bore shows heavy wear and prickling of corrosion in the grooves. The barrel is stamped "Colt 45 Auto" on the left side of the chamber, and there is a P stamp on the left side of the lug. A G is stamped on the bottom of the barrel. The magazine is blued with light wear. There is an S stamped on the toe.
