Description
11/17/25- For sale is a 1942 dated K98 bayonet. The blade has most of its original finish, with two or three noticeable spots of rubbing, likely from the scabbard. The bayonet is marked "42 cof" and there is the serial 6059a on the other side. cof is the code for Carl Eickhorn. The handle is intact with no chipping or cracks. The scabbard is thin blued sheet metal. There is noticeable loss of finish and some corrosion on the scabbard, along with one or two noticeable dents. The frog is intact and functional and may have a unit marking on it. Overall in very good condition.
