Description
12/2/25 - For sale is an International Harvester M1 Garand made in 1953. These M1 Garands had receivers made by Springfield under contract from IHC and had a unique gap between letters on the roll stamp. These were observed in the 4.6 million serial range, and another batch of 15,000 rifles starting from 5,198,034 to 5,213,034. The rifle was sold through the CMP as a Rack grade. The rifle has a nice parkerized finish on the metal with freckles of oxidation on the receiver. The stock is in great shape with light surface wear. The left side is stamped with the DoD eagle. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The muzzle and throat erosion measure a 2.5. There is a ding at the muzzle, but does not touch the crown of the bore. Comes with a CMP COA and en block clip.
