Description
8/13/25 - This is a very rare, Cold War-Era communist Czech CZ Model 83, chambered in 7.65mm. Three digit serial number made in the first year of production. Non-import marked. The CZ 83 is a compact, steel-framed DA/SA pistol made by Česká Zbrojovka from the mid-1980s to early 2010s, with the 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP) chambering produced in far smaller quantities than its .380 ACP and 9x18mm counterparts—estimated at only 10–15% of total CZ 83 production. Built on a fixed-barrel, straight-blowback system, it offers mild recoil, excellent accuracy, ambidextrous controls, and a 15-round capacity. Most .32 ACP examples were issued to European police agencies, with relatively few imported to the U.S., making them a desirable find for collectors seeking Cold War-era European service pistols or a complete caliber set of CZ 83s. Its limited production, quality machining, and smooth shooting manners combine to give this variant strong collector appeal. This one shows essentially no wear and comes with its original matching-numbered box, two magazines (one is still in the original plastic), cleaning rod, and cleaning brush.
