Description
3/27/26 - This is a minty example of a Smith & Wesson Model 59, manufactured in 1973, and includes the original factory box (not numbered), sales history paperwork, cleaning kit, one factory magazine, and S&W factory letter. The letter comes from S&W historian Roy Jinks and states that it was shipped to Cheshire & Prez in Monrovia, CA in April of 1973. It has a blued finish, 4" barrel, 14 round magazine, and black nylon grips. It was later sold to an ATF Agent (Bob Roberts). The pistol is in like-new condition, with just a tiny spot of wear on the trigger guard and a few scattered micro scratches on the frame and slide. Minty bore and excellent grips, with mild handling marks. This model was particularly popular with law enforcement agencies across the US in the 1970s.
