Description
7/28/25 - This is a gorgeous example of an early Colt Single Action Army Cavalry Model from 1874. Chambered in .45 Colt with a 7.5 inch barrel. It is all matching with "US" Property marking on the left side. This marking is not original to the gun and was added to make it look like the iconic 7.5" Cavalry Model. The included Colt factory letter mentions this gun as being sold in the commercial market in 1874. It has been completely professionally restored and refinished by Master Colt gun restorer, Dave Lanara. The gun is in beautiful condition with essentially no signs of wear or use. Mint wood grips. Bright bluing on the barrel, cylinder, and straps with excellent case-hardening on the frame. Mint bore. Fully functional with a smooth action.
