Description
8/5/25 - This is a gorgeous example of an early Colt Single Action Army Cavalry Model from 1890. Chambered in .45 Colt with a 7.5 inch barrel. It is all matching with mixed military proofs throughout, cartouches on the grips, 1890 date on the left grip panel, and a "US" marking on the frame. It has been completely professionally restored and refinished by Master Colt gun restorer, Dave Lanara. The gun is in beautiful condition with essentially no signs of wear. Minty wood grips. Bright bluing on the barrel, cylinder, and straps with excellent case-hardening on the frame. The bore has good rifling, but there are noticeable spots of oxidation and minor pitting. Fully functional with a smooth action.
