7/31/25 - The following are very nice examples of Kriegsmarine 7x50 binoculars that were manufactured by beh- the German government code for Ernst Leitz GmbH of Wetzlar and comes with a nice carrying case. The exterior of the binoculars are in excellent condition with no chips or damage. The rubber weather covers around the eyepieces and base are intact and the rubber is soft and malleable. The hinges are smooth and able to open and close easily. The left lens is very clear, however the right lens appears to have internal damage and is nearly impossible to see through. These binoculars come with a leather neck strap that has a nice natural patina to it, and leather flap to secure to a tunic which has a Kriegsmarine stamp on it. The leather carrying case is likewise in excellent condition with the interior rim stamped with the Kriegsmarine stamp, "beh" and "1943" and the lid with the Kriegsmarine stamp and fully intact clasp to secure the case shut.
