7/31/25 - The following are an excellent example of German Kriegsmarine binoculars 7x50 manufactured by beh- the German government code for Ernst Leitz GmbH of Wetzlar. These black bodied binoculars are in incredible condition with no surface damage to the metal. The rubber weather covers around the eyepieces and base are also intact and the rubber is soft and malleable, as are the rubber eye covers that are attached to the top. The hinges that open and close the binoculars are smooth and easy to move. The lenses are clear and able to be adjusted easily. There is a leather neck strap attached that has a nice natural patina but one side is repaired with a safety pin as the original clasp is missing. Left side eyepiece base is stamped "7x50", "beh", and serial number "473903".
