beh Dienstglas 10x50 binoculars (471301)

7/31/25 - The following are an outstanding example of German military  Dienstglas optic 10x50 binoculars that were made by beh- the German government code for manufacturer Ernst Leitz Gmbh, Wetzlar. The metal frame is has no dents or damage, and the tan paint is mostly intact with some wear marks and chipping were a persons hands would normally rest. There are rubber weather covers near the eye pieces and base and the rubber is soft and malleable. The lenses are very clear and easily adjustable and the hinge to open and close the binoculars are very clear. The leather neck strap attached to the binoculars appears to have been added in the postwar period as there is no patina on it.
