Description
9/11/25 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand that was personally shipped to US Army Lieutenant General Robert H. Forman. The rifle is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1945. The rifle was refurbished and rebuilt after the war. The metal has a bright, coarse parkerized finish. The stock is a replacement and is in great shape. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The muzzle erosion rate 2 and the throat erosion is 1.5. The barrel is dated November of 1965. The rifle comes with the original shipping invoice from the Anniston Army Depot to the Lt. General. Also included is the original DD Form 1348-1A "Issue Release/ Receipt Document" from Anniston Army Depot. The rifle comes with a canvas sleeve, sling, and the original shipping box.
