Description

8/18/25 - For sale is a British Pattern 14 rifle made by Eddystone as aid during WW1. The metal is in great shape and has a nice aged bluing. The stock is an original P14 potbelly stock but has been sanded fairly aggressively. The rifle volley sights that were reinstalled. The receiver is marked with the starburst * which is a stamp of the Weedon Arsenal re-build program which had the volley sights removed. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rear sight and receiver have matching numbers but the bolt has been ground and re-stamped to force match the receiver. The re-stamp looks to be done after it was sold to the commercial market. The bayonet is marked Remington and in great shape. Scabbard has light creases and wrinkles but no breaks.
