Description
03/09/26 - For sale is a Snider Enfield Mk II used by the British Empire, then later used by what looks to be Afghanistan. The metal is well worn down to bare metal. There are freckles of oxidation and some areas showing light surface corrosion. The stock is worn and the surface feels sanded. Numerous dings on the surface and some splinters missing along the woodline. There is a crack about 1.5" in length behind the breach on the left side. On the buttstock there is a 2.5" inch crack on the left side of the toe. The bore is bright with strong rifling. In front of the chamber is a hand scratched crest that is similar to what is seen on the silver Afghan Rupee. (Photo below).
