Description
10/28/25 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen chambered in .30-40 Krag and made in 1902. The rifle is in good shape with a light patina browning over the receiver and metal bands. The stock shows age and wear with light scratches and dents. There is a hairline crack about 1.25" in length behind the receiver tang. The left side of the stock is stamped with an inspeciton stamp and dated 1899. The bore is mostly bright with strong rifling but is darkening towards the muzzle with some corrosion damage. The rifle comes with an original bayonet and scabbard. Blade is stamped 1902 and is in great shape.
