Description
7/9/25 - This is a pair of original 1st Generation Colt Single Action Army grip frame parts, consisting of a steel trigger guard and backstrap, both dating to the early 1880s. The trigger guard bears the serial number 94327 along with an "A" inspector's mark, placing its production around 1883. It is in good condition with typical wear from use, including a natural patina and some surface marks, but no cracks or structural damage. The backstrap, serial numbered 83345, dates to approximately 1882 and features a high-polish finish. It is marked with a “C” on the upper interior and remains in good+ condition with minimal wear and clean screw holes. Though not factory-matched, the serial numbers are just a year apart, making this pair ideal for a period-correct restoration or shooter build. These are genuine Colt parts, not reproductions, and are well-suited for collectors, restorers, or SAA enthusiasts
