Description
2/24/26 - This is a Compeer Arms Hammerless SxS 12-gauge shotgun, manufactured in the early 1900s. This example is all matching, and serialized on the receiver, forend, and action flats. The shotgun is in great overall condition for its age. The barrels show honest wear and scattered light handling marks, with surface oxidation visible from where they insert into the receiver up to about the halfway mark. The receiver/trigger guard's case-colored finish is somewhat faded, showing mottled tones and scattered spotting/oxidation. The wood furniture is excellent, though the forend's color differs from the stock's, and the wood on both has been sanded. No signs of cracks, chips, or repairs. The ventilated buttplate is also in great condition, with very minor scuffing. Minty bores with almost zero wear to note.
