Description
2/26/26- For sale is a complete US WWI uniform. The uniform includes pants, jacket, cap, and bandolier. The jacket has the collar insignia of the 16th Regiment and the shoulder patch of the 1st Division, a decorated unit during the war. The collar insignia also indicate service in Company K. The uniform has an expert rifleman badge, a pistol expert badge, and a World War One Victory ribbon with two battle stars. The shoulder cord was an award granted by the government of France to certain units that earned the recognition by fighting in France. The sleeves have both overseas service chevrons and rank markers. The jacket has some light wear and a spot or two of loose stitching, especially towards the collar. The jacket is generally intact with no serious damage or staining. The pants are intact with no serious damage or loose stitching. They are unmarked. The cap has the company K badge. The top crease of the cap is stitched together, likely to preserve appearance while wearing the uniform. There is light wear on the cap but no serious damage. There is some discoloration inside the cap. The leather sweatband is intact. The bandolier is fully intact with no damage or loose stitching. It is stamped "Leatheries Ltd. 1919". Whole uniform is in overall excellent condition.
