Description
11/20/25 - For sale is a Dan Nippes Contract Model 1840 musket that was updated to percussion fire and the barrel has been altered to 30" in length. The metal shows heavy oxidation and corrosion damage around the percussion nipple. The lock plate also has oxidation. The Stock has been sanded but in good shape overall. There is a repair next to the upper tang. The bore is bright with pockets of oxidation. The lock plate is dated 1844 and the upper tang is dated 1843.
