03/13/26 - For sale is a DWM G98M chambered in 8mm Mauser and originally made in 1917. The G98M are Gewehr 98 rifles that the German government was allowed to keep after the end of WW1. These rifles were updated with tangent sights like the ones seen on Kar98's. The rifle appears to have been refinished with a dark finish applied to the metal. Scattered patches of patina and oxidation result in some areas with a matte look. The stock is in great shape with minor surface dings. The bore is in fair condition with strong rifling, but the surface has darkened with a faint brightness. The rifle is mismatched. The bolt had its serial ground and then was refinished. Cleaning rod is absent.
