Description
9/18/25 - This is a Colt Python revolver, chambered in .357 Mag. 6" barrel. Serial number dates its manufacture to 1966. The gun has retained about 85-90% of its bluing, with small patches of finish loss along both sides the barrel, areas of wear around the muzzle, and a few small specks of oxidation on the front of the crane where it rotates the cylinder into place below the barrel. An area of finish loss above the trigger on the right side of the frame, and thinning/areas of wear throughout the high edges of the cylinder. Fantastic bore with great rifling. Fitted with wood grips which are also in great condition, with the serrations still sharp, though the panels are clearly paired together and do not perfectly match in color or fit, with a very small gap on the butt where the two panels meet, though it should be noted these differences cannot be felt in the hand.
