02/17/26 - This is an excellent example of a Nambu Type 94 issued to the Japanese military in October of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper features for this desirable late-war variation. It comes as a rig with a pigskin holster (in excellent condition), and two matching-numbered magazines. It should be noted however, that though both magazines match, we believe that one of the mags was "married' to the gun, and one is original to this gun. After consulting several experts, the consensus is that the magazine with the larger font is likely the original, and the magazine with the smaller font is a matching magazine issued to another Type 94 that ended with the same 3 digits. This rig is priced accordingly, and the pistol itself has zero question marks. A beautiful late example, this one has retained nearly all of its original finish, with just hints of high edge wear, and a minor runner's mark along the top of the slide. Fitted with correct, late-war, slab-style wood grips (not numbered), which are excellent aside from a few scattered handling marks. Minty bore.
