4/30/25 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1944. The rifle is in great shape overall with a nice parked finish throughout. Theres some slight discoloration on the left front of the receiver, and the barrel has some finish loss towards the muzzle. The stock feels like it has been lightly sanded. Stamps are still sharp. the left side with SA/GAW and ordnance wheel. The rifle is nearly correct, except the follower is for a later rifle and can easily be fixed. Bore is bright with strong rifling, but there is a patch of oxidation visible on the lands about 0.5" from the muzzle. Muzzle erosion rates a 4 and throat erosion 1.
