Description

03/18/26 - For sale is a Springfield M1D Sniper assembled around 1952. The rifle was then sold through the CMP. The rifle has a nice parkerized finish with light edge wear on the receiver and scope mount. The stock has been sanded, likely when it was rebuilt by Springfield, as the SA Springfield Armory stamp is still crisp. The Circle P stamp was also reapplied. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Muzzle erosion rating is 2, and throat erosion is 1. The side of the barrel is stamped SA 10-52, and the drawing # ends in 555. The rifle comes with the original CMP Box with some of the accessories still sealed in the storage bags. Some of them were openend then resealed with glue or staples. Included are the Scope in the foil bag, cheek rest, flash hider, carry case for the scope, grease, broken case extractor, sling, and cleaning tools. The scope was resealed in the bag, and we are unable to verify the lens quality.
