Description

03/19/26 - For sale is a Mk2 Mod 0 built on a 1941 Springfield receiver and a 1955 Springfield barrel. The metal has a nice phosphate finish with light wear on the slide travel. There is a slight discoloration on the left side of the receiver. The stock is in excellent condition and has a nice stripe-like pattern. The left side is stamped with the DoD Eagle. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Muzzle erosion rating is 2. The Mod 0 was the initial attempt of converting M1 Garands to 7.62 NATO using a chamber bushing. These would be unsuccessful and the Mod 1 would have a new barrel installed.
