Description

9/26/25 - This is a German WWII Army ration grain sack made of heavy burlap. It measures about 35in by 27in when laid flat. Designed for transporting grain, it bears a 1942 stencil marked “H. Vpfl.” (Heeres Verpflegung, meaning “Army Rations”) on one side and a large Wehrmacht eagle on the other. The sack remains in excellent condition for its age, with only light fading to the markings, some areas of very minor discoloration, and some fraying along some of the edges here and there.
