Description
2/13/26 - This is an extraordinarily rare and collectible Walther PPK from 1936 with gold wash finish and factory engraving in the floral pattern. PPKs are especially rare, as is the floral pattern (most are acorn & oak leaf), along with the gold wash variants so this combination is very seldom seen. This example does show its age, as well as thinning of the gold finish around the muzzle and high edges of the pistol. The front strap is engraved with the initials 'KSt', so obviously it was personalized but we do not have any history on the piece or who it would've been presented to. The grip appears to be a period presentation example as it's made of wood and seems hand-fitted to this pistol. The magazine and screw head/escutcheon are also gold washed. Excellent, shiny bore. Good mechanics, including safety/de-cocker.
