7/29/25 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Single Action Army revolver from 1907. Chambered in .44-40. According to the Colt factory letter, this one was shipped to the Wyeth Hardware & Mfg Company in St. Joseph, Missouri on March 8, 1907. It also states that it is chambered in .44-40 with a 4 3/4" barrel. However, the barrel measures 5 3/8". This was has been professionally restored with a blued barrel, cylinder, and straps with a case-colored frame. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some roll marks on the cylinder, and a few very light scratches on the barrel. Mint bore.
