Description
10/13/25- For sale is a WWI era French mess tin. This simple pot was adopted in 1858 as the standard French mess tin. It originally contained a small tray or plate inside to hold a meal but that has since been lost as was common. There is wear and patina all over the inside and outside of the pot and lid. There is a small manufacturer stamp on the bottom. The chain is attached and in good condition. Overall in good condition.
