SOLD - German Military Service Booklet

10/14/25- For sale is an original WWI military service record book. Every German soldier had one of these books to record their military service after they were discharged so they could prove service for things like government benefits. The details in this book describe a man born in 1874 and entering service in 1915, likely a draftee as he was already over 40 years old. Another pasted in page describes service in a new unit from November 1917 to November 19, 1918, just 8 days after the Armistice. The rest of the document could be translated to reveal more of the soldier's specific story and service history. The book is generally in very good condition, with only minor tears or discoloration, as would be expected from a paper document over 105 years old.
