Description

9/15/25- For sale is the German Mothers' Cross in gold. The gold grade was the highest grade available of the award and was granted to any German mother who had at least eight children. The award was part of the Nazi effort to increase the population of ethnic Germans. The front has a swastika and the words "Der Deutschen Mutter" or "To the German Mother". The back bears an engraving "16 Dezember 1938" and a reproduction of Hitler's signature. The crosses are in very good condition with only very minor patina or wear. Price is per cross.
