9/15/25- For sale is a German WWI era silver wound badge. The wound badge was Germany's award for injured soldiers and the silver badge was awarded after three or more enemy wounds. The badge itself is a thin piece of stamped zinc. The attachment pin is present and functional and there is only minor wear and patina. Overall in very good condition.
