4/7/26 - This is a Mauser Model 1914 issued to the Imperial German military during WWI. It is all matching, has the proper Imperial proof in front of the rear sight which is a police proof, and has an "L. Lg. 163." unit marking on the front strap. The gun comes as a complete matching rig - two matching-numbered magazines (with the matching unit number) and an original matching-numbered holster (matches the gun's serial number). The gun itself has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original bluing. The majority of the wear is concentrated around the muzzle and around the high edges. Fitted with a nice period-correct wood grip. The bore is bright and the rifling is gstill intact but the surface has pitting throughout.
