Description
7/17/25 - For sale is an interesting Underwood M1 Carbine. The receiver is void of a serial number and there are no signs of grinding or erasing of the serial. Since the barrel date is early, it could be an early production rifle, or a "lunchbox special". The receiver has a nice light gray parked finish that we believe to be reparkerized. The barrel is marked Underwood 10-42. The finish on the barrel is worn with patches of old oxidation and some corrosion towards the muzzle. The stock is in great shape with minor handling marks.. There's no cracks or breaks but there is a small chip missing next to the recoil plate tang. The bore is bright with strong rifling, but there is some light prickling of corrosion in the groove near the muzzle. The trigger group, hammer, and bolt are underwood. The rest are unmarked.
