Description
7/1/25 - A series of "Blank Slide" model 1934 guns which were produced at Beretta after the fall of the Fascist regime in July 1943, About 9-10,000 units in the late F-prefix serial group, and 40-50,000 pistols in the G-prefix group were produced with no markings. In January 1944, a new slide legend was applied. It was the same as the old slide legend, except without the Roman Numeral markings to denote the years since the 1922 March on Rome. This example here is from the summer of 1943. It is matching with the proper "Crown RE" Italian military acceptance proof. It comes as a rig with a period-correct holster and one proper magazine. Fitted with period-correct black baketlite grips - some surface scratches on the left side. There is very minor high edge wear, some dulling on the left side of the slide and frame, and some thinning with spotty brown patina on the grip straps. Very nice bore with great rifling.
