Description
02/11/26 - For sale is a 25th Series Kokura Type 99 Arisaka that was made at the end of the war. This rifle features many of the "last ditch" parts like the fixed sight, 3 piece stock, rough finish, crude bolt, and large recoil lug. The metal retains a dark bluing with patches of wear down to bare metal. Theres some freckling of oxidation visible as well. The sock shows plenty of handling marks and the distinct chatter marks on the wrist. The bore is bright with strong rifling, but there is oxidation at the muzzle. The serial numbers on the bolt does not match the receiver. The rifle comes with a late-war National Denki Type 30 bayonet in a bamboo scabbard. The bayonet has oxidation spots and some light pitting. The scabbard shows numerous cracks and attempted repairs with glue.
