Where are the Display Safes made?
The safes are made in Aurora, IL, just outside of Chicago. Local metal fabricators in Illinois cut the ballistic glass and steel components to specification. Final assembly takes place in Illinois, using U.S.-sourced sub-components wherever possible.

What kind of lock is used?
A high-quality cam lock, selected with the guidance of an expert locksmith and safe cracker. It is very difficult to pick or force.

How secure is it?
Display Safes are built with layered security features: 12-gauge steel top, reinforced hinges, and a 14-gauge steel plate behind the lock to prevent twisting or prying. Independent testing showed these safes exceeded California DOJ requirements, lasting over 37 minutes against household tools (compared to the 10-minute DOJ benchmark).

What display options are available?
The standard background is red velvet, but custom colors and materials are available (blue, camouflage, gold, leather, or customer-supplied fabric). Rifle and shotgun models even allow you to upload a custom image.

What powers the lights?
A 12v 1 Amp power supply with remote control to adjust brightness or add strobe effects.

Can the frame be changed?
Yes. Frames are attached with industrial-strength Velcro tabs and can be easily replaced. Some customers prefer the minimalist look without a frame.

What is the frame made of?
Wood composite.

What sizes are available?
Pistol Safe: Viewing area 20” x 16” x 6” (approx. 42 lbs fully assembled).
Rifle/Shotgun Safe: Viewing area 48” L x 21.125” H x 4” D (approx. 105 lbs fully assembled).

How does the firearm appear to float?
Powerful rare earth magnets (wrapped in a leather-like coating) hold the firearm securely while giving the “floating” appearance. Extra magnets can be ordered.

Yes. If you're not satisfied, you may return the safe within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
