M35 Double Decal Kriegsmarine Helmet

7/14/25 - This is a good example of an M35 German helmet that with a decal from the Kriegsmarine (German Navy). The paint on the helmet is missing in parts, most heavily from the top of the helmet where there is significant oxidization, along with some scratching and patina along the rest of the interior but all three split pins are in-tact. The Kriegsmarine eagle decal on the left side of the helmet is partially visible, while the tri-color decal on the right side of the helmet is almost completely gone. The interior of the helmet has some oxidization throughout, and some rust along the left side near the folded brim of the helmet and on the brim itself. There is a aluminum reinforced band with a leather liner. The leather is somewhat brittle with surface cracks along the back at the band, and the front half of the leather has detached from the band. The chin strap of the helmet is also missing, however remnants on both sides where the chin strap would attach. Named with unit #0/9001/435, named Deutschmann.
