Description
7/14/25 - This is a great example of an untouched M40 German helmet that was brought back by an American soldier who fought with the 34th Infantry Division during WWII and comes with a notarized letter stating the same. The paint on the helmet is a dark green with some remnants of white wash camouflage visible and there is an army decal clearly visible on the left side. The exterior of the helmet has some scratches throughout and some minor patina in the back, and all three split pins are present. The interior of the helmet is leather lined and the leather is mostly soft and malleable with some surface and deeper cracking around the brim. The original chin strap is also still attached and is complete. Helmet is made by EF, size 64, Lot # 427.
