M42 Danish Resistance Helmet

7/15/25 - This is a good example of a German M42 German helmet that has been customized for the Danish resistance. The exterior has the original factory paint that has been heavily scratched and has significant patina throughout, especially on the dome where most of the paint is missing. The right side of the helmet has a decal of the Dutch resistance which is mostly clear with some minor scratches, and a patch of orange-red paint on the left hand side as well. The front of the helmet has been marked "STK/A2" in white paint. The interior of the helmet has some patina throughout, especially around the interior steel band that holds the leather liner. The leather interior is hard and brittle with some surface cracking around the band at the back right corner. The helmet is also marked "C.J" in red paint on a white field on the back interior brim. The chinstrap is also intact and original to the helmet. Made by NS, size 62.
