Description
8/12/25 - The “Menta” is a small, blowback-operated semi-automatic pistol chambered in 6.35mm (.25 ACP), produced in Suhl, Germany, by V. Charles Schilling around the early 20th century. Compact and easily concealable, it was marketed as a personal defense and gentleman’s pocket pistol during the interwar period. The design features a fixed barrel, single-action trigger, and a simple safety lever, with slide serrations for ease of operation. Often finished in high-polish blue with checkered hard rubber grips bearing the “Menta” name, these pistols were well-made for their size but produced in limited numbers, making surviving examples appealing to collectors of early European pocket pistols. This one has retained about 96-97% of its original finish with just very minor high edge and muzzle wear. Excellent bore. Fitted with checkered black grips that do not say "Menta". It comes as a rig with two magazines and a period-correct leather holster.
