Description
9/30/25- For sale is a nice 19th century French cartridge box. The brass emblem on the front is a symbolic rendering of the doctor's staff, a common symbol of medicine, surrounded by decorative leaves. The cartridge box seems to be made of a combination of brass, leather, and wood. The leather belt loop is attached but is cracking. The box will open but the leather flap is stiff and will not lie flat on a surface. The brass clasp used to close the belt loop has broken off but is present. Overall in good condition, especially considering the age!
