Mint, Cased Consecutive Set of Engraved Colt Diamondback Special Edition Revolvers

1/13/26 - This is a spectacular, consecutive pair of engraved Colt Diamondback "Rattlesnake" Special Edition .22 LR revolvers (serial numbers R47347 & R47348), both in their original wood presentation case. Both preserved in pristine condition with zero notable wear, not even a turn line on the cylinders. The bore and grips of both Diamondbacks are also pristine. Each revolver features a 6" ventilated rib, full-lug barrel, and the bluing is accented with intricate scrollwork on the barrel and cylinder flutes. The frames are also elaborately decorated, depicting the Rampant Colt in a desert scene over a rattlesnake with a "1 of 500" banner on the left side, and a larger rattlesnake desert scene on the right. Fitted with excellent checkered walnut grips bearing gold-colored Colt medallions, each pistol is housed in a lockable walnut presentation case with brass hardware and a gold-colored fitted insert, complete with a pewter lid plaque engagingly engraved with a rattlesnake scene and the text "Diamondback Special Edition 1 of 500." Both revolvers also come with owner's manual, Colt paperwork, gun lock, and keys for the presentation cases.
