07/01/26 - For sale is a National Postal Meter M1 Carbine made in 1943. The rifle had been refurbished after the war. The metal has a bright, newer phosphate finish. The stock is a replacement M2 Carbine stock with no maker mark. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The muzzle erosion rating is 3. The rifle is a mixture of parts variations, and makers, so it is not parts correct. Comes with an M4 bayonet and M8A1 Scabbard. Blade is in good shape with a coarse phosphate finish. Visible finish wear and some old oxidation on the crossguard.
