12/10/25 - This is one of the finest 1930s-era Colt ACEs we've ever encountered, and it comes with the original matching box! Manufactured in 1939 and shipped in April of that year, the pistol is virtually mint, with just a few tiny freckles on front right of the slide near the muzzle and on the grip safety, and the faintest shadow of a takedown scratch. Minty bore and grips. Action is smooth as butter. The box is numbered and matching with hand-written serial on the bottom, and it also includes the original punch tool and owner's manual/parts list, two excellent original magazine, and a Colt factory archives letter. To say this example would be difficult to upgrade would be an understatement.
