Description
10/13/25 - This is a near-mint Walther Model 9a in the original box. This a type three Walther Model 9a, made in the early WWII era (1934-1940). This pistol is Crown/N proofed on slide and frame. 'Made in Germany' Export stamped on the left side of the frame in front of the trigger guard. This variation is best identified by the magazine safety on right side frame and serial range. The pistol is all original with about 99% blue remaining, showing just minor edge wear and a barely visible dab of freckling near the muzzle on the left side of the slide, and one tiny spot of wear on the front grip strap. The bore is stone mint. Fitted with an excellent set of proper 'Walther' marked grips. Includes one proper magazine, the very rare original box (marked '9a'), an original manual, and cleaning brush. The box numbering is very faint and the label itself is very slightly torn off on the right outermost edge. The box has some tape surrounding the exterior holding the top layer neatly, but it is in otherwise great condition, and perfectly sound structurally.
